Jaime Mingot leads global age verification (AV) efforts at Gataca, focusing on the development and adoption of digital wallet-based identity solutions that prioritize privacy, security, and user experience. He is spearheading Gataca Vouch, a novel AV system designed to address the current industry challenges resulting from increasing regulatory demands. He possesses a multidisciplinary academic background in sociology, political science, and economics from Lund University, offering a comprehensive understanding of societal dynamics and regulatory environments which he combines with his passion for emerging technologies. His most recent work focuses on enabling the bridging between regulators and industry stakeholders toward shaping an innovative, standards-driven solution to tackle the AV challenge.
